Ethiopia Buys Tractors Worth $90 Million

The Ethiopian engineering corporation, Adama Agricultural Machinery Industry (AAMI), has singed a deal with Polish agricultural machinery producer, Ursus, worth $90 million.

The polish giant, who has been in business since 1922, will supply about 3,000 tractors and their spare parts to the east African state. Ursus are also expected to also supply other agricultural equipments to Ethiopia.

The Polish manufacturer is expected to begin supplying the first set of tractors by the second quarter or third quarter of 2014.
