He tied Mojo to the wider DESSU corridor linking Ethiopia with South Sudan and Uganda. It is an infrastructure pitch aimed at investors and African partners, not at the war map in Amhara.<\/p>\n<p>That juxtaposition is the Amhara story. While Addis opens a digital logistics showcase on the Djibouti line, AAA\u2019s latest weekly update still places battle events across eight Amhara zones and records civilian harm in North Wollo and North Shewa. Trade corridors can move coffee and containers; they do not by themselves stop shelling in Alamata or Efratana-Gidim, or answer diaspora monitors who say Abiy Ahmed\u2019s Oromumma-dominated government is fighting Amhara society as much as it is fighting Fano.<\/p>\n<p>None of that makes Mojo fictional. The hub sits on a real railway that has long been Ethiopia\u2019s main seaport lifeline, and AfCFTA logistics capacity is a legitimate economic goal. Soft claims from the inauguration about employment gains, foreign-currency savings, and continental leadership should be treated as government framing until independent trade data catch up.
