{"id":60348,"date":"2022-04-05T16:50:17","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T20:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zegabi.com\/articles\/?p=60348"},"modified":"2022-04-05T16:50:17","modified_gmt":"2022-04-05T20:50:17","slug":"eritreas-sawa-defense-training-center-open-for-ethnic-amhara-youngsters-president-issaias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.zegabi.com\/articles\/60348","title":{"rendered":"Eritrea&#8217;s Sawa Defense Training Center open for ethnic Amhara youngsters : President Issaias"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\":r3\" class=\"Ar Au Ao\">\n<div id=\":qz\" class=\"Am Al editable LW-avf tS-tW tS-tY\" role=\"textbox\" aria-label=\"Message Body\">\n<p>Eritrean president Issaias Afeworki declared that ethnic Amhara youngsters from neighboring Ethiopia can receive military training at the Sawa Defense Training Center, a military academy in the Gash- Barka region of Eritrea.<\/p>\n<p>The president said his government is accused of recruiting and offering military training to Amhara youngsters with no any evidence.<\/p>\n<p>It is to be recalled that the Tigary People\u2019s Liberation Front (TPLF) had accused Eritrea of offering military training for tens of thousands of Ethnic Amhara youngsters.<\/p>\n<p>He said Sawa is open for any Ethiopian who is interested in taking military training and knowledge. The president\u2019s invitation has been warmly welcomed by Ethnic Amhara people.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, judges at the Oromia Supreme CourtTuesday ordered the release of journalist Tamrat Negera on 50,000 birr bail.<\/p>\n<p>It has been 117 days since the arrest of Tamrat Negera, the editor-in-chief of Terara Network Online Media, but he has not been charged and his bail application was pending.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a010 March Judges at Gelan district\u00a0court of the Oromia Regional State Special Zone Surrounding Addis Ababa ordered prosecutors at Oromia\u2019s Attorney General office to file charges on journalist Tamerat within 15 days if there were reasonable ground for the charges the prosecutors were\u00a0seeking to indict\u00a0Tamerat with.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the judges also ruled that Tamerat should be transferred to Sebeta city, Daleti police station, located in Oromia Regional State Special Zone Surrounding Addis Ababa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eritrean president Issaias Afeworki declared that ethnic Amhara youngsters from neighboring Ethiopia can receive military training at the Sawa Defense Training Center, a military academy in the Gash- Barka region of Eritrea.
